In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of leading news and magazine applications in Sweden on a unified platform showcased varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. These insights are derived from Sensor Tower data.

Expressen Nyheter saw a fluctuating revenue pattern, starting at approximately $25K and peaking at nearly $29K in early December. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 2.3K weekly, while active users experienced a decline, dropping from 178K to 147K towards the end of the quarter.

Readly Magazines & Newspapers generated consistent weekly revenue, mainly between $28K and $32K, with a slight peak at the end of the quarter. Downloads increased significantly in December, reaching 1.7K. Active users showed a dip mid-quarter but ended with a rise to around 19K.
